BJP hails abrogation of Article-370

Jammu, Sept 4: Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) State General Secretary Ashok Kaul, claimed that abrogation of Article 370 has armoured people's faith on BJP, while he was addressing a programme organized by party State General Secretary Yudhvir Sethi at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
BJP State General Secretary Dr. Narinder Singh accompanied by State Office Secretary Tilak Raj Gupta, Anusuchit Jaati Morcha State President Jagdish Bhagat, District President Ayodhya Gupta and other senior leaders of the party were also present.
Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) State Vice-President Krishan Kumar Dingra accompanied by Chairman SC/BC Cell J&K Rattan Chand, State Cashier Dr. Dewan Chand, Joint State Secretary Ved Raj Bharti, President Ex-Servicemen Tilak Raj, Booth Incharge Hari Chand, Trading Cell Incharge Puran Chand Bharadwaj, Navdeep Gupta, Labour Cell President Girdhari Lal Dogra, Youth President R.S. Pura Amandeep Pandav, President Mandal Cell Dr. Atul Raina, President Mahila Morcha Talab Tillo Poli Devi, Kanta Basin, District President Mahila Morcha Puspha Devi, District General Secretary Mahila Morcha Sarita Digra, SC/BC General Secretary Veena Digra, Shailja Gupta, Janak Raj, Satpal Kundal, Rakesh Kumar Sangral, PDP leaders led by Surinder Khajuria, leaders of Valmiki Samaj led by Asif Gill and others joined the party on the occasion.
Ashok Kaul, while addressing the gathering, said that the abrogation of Article 370 has armoured people's faith on BJP. He said that BJP has again proved that power is meant to serve the Nation and Society. He said that with the strong conviction on the International, National and Internal policies of the BJP and having lost their faith completely on opportunistic parties like NC, PDP and Congress, more and more people are leaving these parties and coming forward to join the ranks of BJP.
Yudhvir Sethi, welcoming all the senior leaders of various political and social groups into the party fold said that these leaders have served the society in their capacities for a long period. He said that their vast experiences will help the party to make further inroads into the society. He also ensured them that they will get full support of organization, in all the public welfare activities.
Dr. Narinder Singh, in his address, said that we welcome these with open arms and at the same time, expect that they will upkeep the traditions and ideology of the party.
BJP State Secretary Arvind Gupta, State Press Secretary Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, JMC Councillor Sat Paul Karlupia, Chaman Angral, Mohan Lal, Manohar Lal Menia, Bishan Lal, Raghunandan were amongst the other prominent BJP leaders present on the occasion.
