| Front hails decision on re-survey of Sikhs | | | Early Times Reporter

Expressing their gratitude towards the National Minority Commission (NMC), the National Sikh Front (NSF) welcomed the decision taken by the commission for the re-survey of all Sikhs living outside Punjab.
Addressing a press conference here today, Chairman, NSF, Varinder Jeet Singh said that it is after the continuous efforts and struggle of the Sikhs that the NMC has restarted such a survey.
He added that this is a first step in order to provide 10 pc reservation to the Sikhs and this survey should also be carried in the Punjab so that the Sikhs of Punjab also be included in the survey.
He said the Front has urged upon the members of the community to support such parties who mention the demand on10 pc reservation to the sikh community in their manifestos. |
