| Clerks condemn cane-charge on colleagues | | | Early Times Reporter

The state departmental clerical staff has condemned the brutal lathicharge by the police on the ‘peaceful’ demonstration of the clerks in Srinagar, here today.
The clerical staff held a massive rally by holding a procession and raised slogans against the government for using the cane charge on the innocent clerks, who are on peace protest for the last 69 days.
Speaking on the occasion, Secretary, Ravi Singh Bhau said that this is grave violation of the human rights as the clerks are peacefully holding their rally but the police is using cane charge against them.
He urged upon the state government to meet the demands of the clerks so that the work which has been paralyzed in the various state departments for the last many days gets started.
Among others who spoke during the rally were, Bahir Malik, Sukhbir Singh, Ravi Kumar, MR Verma and Krishan Gopal. |
