| Jammu boy finds berth in India volleyball camp | | | Early Times Reporter
Jammu | June 3
Rakesh Kumar of Jammu has achieved the distinction of being selected for the India Youth and Junior men’s camp underway at Bangalore in Karnataka.
A trainee of Sports Training Centre (STC) of Sports Authority of India (SAI) at Udhampur, Rakesh earlier attended the North zone youth camp held at Kurukshetra in Haryana in 2006.
A student of Government PG College, Udhampur, Rakesh is attending the 45-day camp along with 26 other boys selected from around the country. “The camp is being organized by Volleyball Association of India for the forthcoming Asian Junior Championship,” general secretary of Volleyball Association of J&K, Kuldeep Magotra told reporters. |
