| 10 get imprisonment, fine for trespassing, assaulting | | | Early Times Reporter

Munsiff Magistrate Mahore Madan Lal today convicted and sentenced Abdulla, Hakam Din, Abdul, Bashir, Yousaf, Asrail, Farooq, Jameel, Kala and Abdulla S/o Lala all residents Malikote Tehsil Mahore District Reasi to undergo three years imprisonment and fine Rs 1500 each.
According to the police case, the accused persons on June 28, 2004 with criminal intention trespassed into the house of a complainant Karnail Singh and beat him with lathies resulting injuries to him and also tried to dispossess him and his family members. In this regard a case was lodged by injured which was registered on July 4, 2004.
While awarding sentence Munsiff Magistrate Madan Lal said that prosecution witnesses recorded during the trial corroborated with the prosecution story resulting in conviction of all the above named accused persons. The prosecution was successfully conducted on behalf of state by PO Mahore Mr. Jaswant Raj with SrPO Reasi Mr. Rajesh Bakshi. JNF |
