| SS condemns price hike of LPG, petrol, diesel | | | Early Times Reporter
Jammu | June 4
The Shiv Sena Jammu and Kashmir has condemned the centre government for hike in the prices of the essential commodities including, LPG, Petrol and Diesel and held a protest demonstration, here today.
During the protest demonstration, Sena activists under the chairmanship of President, SS Ashok Gupta raised slogans against the Prime Minister for his failure to control the rising prices.
Gupta said that it is unfortunate that the government has bowed before the pressure of the private oil companies and has raised the rates of the petrol prices and the cooking gas which were already very high as compared to the other neighboring countries.
He added that the middle class and the poor people are already struggling with the
hiked prices of the commodities and the government has put more burden on them by raising the prices of LPG and petrol.
He urged upon the Prime Minister to withdraw the price hike especially of the cooking gas.
Among others who participated in the protest were Rajesh Bandhari, Ashish Gupta, Surinder Mahajan and Satish. |
