Doda police on specific information conducted raids and arrested Let milliatnt Shabir Ahmed Mallah S/o Gh. Mohd. Mallah R/o Chivllivan from village Shadiwan. One mobile phone and huge quantity of incriminating material have been recovered from his possession. During investigation he revealed that he has remained a close associate of Mohd. Iqbal Let district commander who has motivated him to join militancy. Said commander had assigned him the task of killing the prominent and selective Hindus in the area by way of chopping off their heads etc. with the timely arrest, a major militant strike has been averted. It is pertinent to mention here that brother of the said apprehended by Jammu Police in connection with transaction of Hawala Money about two years back. The apprehended militant is being sent to JIC Jammu for sustained interrogation to know about his activities and associates. At his instance, some more arrests are likely to take place. |
