Janipur police today held a person accused of committing a rape. According to reports, Anil s/o Muna r/o Chattisgarh had come here to visit his relatives in Janipur where he committed a rape on a 13 years girl Chander Kanta and escaped from Jammu to Chattisgarh.
The father of the girl lodged a complaint in Janipur police station. A police team led by SHO Rajinder Singh under the supervision of SSP Alok Kumar was dispatched to Chattisgarh where police team apprehended the rapist from his house. |
