NC committed for overall development: Kichloo

National Conference leader and Member Legislative Assembly Kishtwar, Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo conducted an extensive tour of Karthai, Jad, Afani, Kajie, Kunzal, Patoli, Sohan, Ishtyari and other adjoining villages of Paddar area of District Kishtwar.
During his tour MLA Kishtwar interacted with the inhabitants of the villages, listened to the grievances and took on spot decisions, which were appreciated by one and all.
Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo inaugurated the newly upgraded High School Afani and Ishtyari, which was a long pending demand of the people of the area.
The people of the area highly appreciated the efforts put in by the MLA for the development of this far-flung area.
During his tour Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo released an amount of Rs. 35.00 lac out of his Constituency Fund for Paddar area of District Kishtwar and said that he is committed for the upliftment of the people of his constituency and will fight for their cause.
Calling upon the people strengthen National Conference and its leadership, Kichloo said "National Conference is the only premier political party in the state which is committed for the upliftment of people of the state and will continue to do so".
On the occasion NC MLA sanctioned solar lights for the left over villages of the Padar area of Kishtwar and also informed that the Machail road which was long pending demand of the people of the area will be shortly taken up under PMGSY Scheme.
Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo also assured the people of the area their demand for taking up work on Kandari road and opening of a school will also be conceded to. He informed that the survey on the Kandari road has been completed and the same will be taken up soon.
Kichloo also impressed upon the state government to take up Karthai Power Project the DPR of which have been made in the year 2001. He said lingering on the prestigious power projects will badly effect the progress and development of this far flung and remote area. He said opening / commissioning of power projects in the area will boost the economy of the state beside a large number of local youth will get employment.
He called upon the state government to show seriousness in the matter and take up this project besides other projects, which are in pipeline for the overall development of the area.
