| HC stays SAC recommendation on patwari’s termination | | | Early Times Reporter

Justice JP Singh of J&K High Court Jammu Wing today stayed the operation of recommendation of State Accountability Commission whereby it has suggested termination of a patwari, Saleem Banday.
A petitioner had challenged the recommendation of State Accountability Commission seeking termination of services of the then Tehsildar Basnat Ram, Girdawar OM Parkash and patwari Mohd Saleem Banday (present petitioner) then posted in Udhampur and also taking serious note on the casual and perfunctory working of the two Deputy Commissioners Atul Dullu and Ashok Parmar and recommended action both Deputy Commissioners then posted Udhampur.
Justice Singh after hearing Adv SK Shukla appearing for Banday issued notice returnable within one week and till further order of this Court, operation of J&K Accountability Commission's Order May 30, 2008 shall remain stayed insofar as it pertains to the petitioners. (JNF) |
