| LeT militant held, hideout busted | | | Early Times Reporter
Jammu | June 5
Security forces today claimed have arrested a militant belonging to LeT outfit from remote village of Doda district besides busting recovering a huge quantity of arms and ammunition from Mujakot area of Rajouri district.
Police sources told that it nabbed a militant belonging to LeT outfit in a special operation from village Shadwan in Doda district.
The arrested militant has been identified as Shabir Ahmad Mallah, son of Ghulam Mohmmad, resident of Challiban.
One Mobile phone and huge quantity of incriminating material was recovered from his possession, police said and added that during preliminary questioning he revealed that he remained a close associate of Mohd Iqbal District Commander of LET outfit.
Meanwhile huge quantity of arms and ammunition was recovered after security forces busted a hideout in Majakot area of Rajouri District.
Police said that a search operation was conducted by police /38 RR in village Laharka Ghambir Mughlan in Manjakote and three Detonators, IEDs-04,Dura pencil Cells-47, were recovered from the site. |
