| People stage protest against PDD over unscheduled power curtailment | | |

Vijaypur, Sept 14: The People of village Bandral Ramgarh Sector today stage strong protest demonstration against the Power Development Department regarding the unscheduled Power cuts and blocked the Vijaypur Ramgarh Border road for few three Hours.
the residents of village Bandral sector Ramgarh express the resentment against Power development department, a large number of the residents including male and female assembled at Main chowk Bandral during the intervening night, they raised slogan and shouting against the officers said department. They blocked Vijaypur Ramgarh road for three hours and stop the vehicular movement on this road.
They alleged that the concerning department fails to provide the proper power supply in their area, but other side the department sending the electricity bill in their homes in every month, but after paying the electricity bill in every month they did not get proper electricity.
They also alleged that during the hot summer days, the new born baby and old age person facing a lot of troubles and the study of their children also effected, several times they met with the officer of the said department but they dole fake promise with them.
After receipt the information the officer of the PDD reached on the spot and tried to pacify the protester but the protester continues their protest, after some time Ramgarh police reached on the spot and pacify the protester.
Officials of the electricity department said that due to low voltage, electricity is not getting full due to which power cuts are being given, they gave 10 to 15 days time to the people, that they will improve power completely. People said that if there is no improvement of power in the demanded days of the department, then they will close the national highway, which will be responsible by the electricity department itself. |
