| CCI worried over clerk’s strike | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | June 5 Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) has expressed grave concern over the government clerical staff’s agitation which is continuing for last 70 days and due to which the entire society has been put to ransom. As per a press release, unaccounted number of cases are lying pending in the offices and people are running from pillar to post to get their problems redressed. CCI president Ram Sahai has expressed his surprise that how the authorities of a welfare state can remain indifferent and apathetic over the sad plight of its subjects, especially during the year of elections. Sahai appealed to the government as well as to the agitating employees to realize the difficulties which the public in general is facing and do their best for resolving the issue amicably in a true give and take spirit instead of adopting the adamance and confrontation. |
