A deputation of research scholars of University of Jammu, today called on political advisor to the chief minister Janak Raj Gupta and urged upon him to redress the problems being faced by a fellow scholar namely Loksevak, whose parents were killed by militant at Samba on May 11.
Deputation apprised the advisor that the state government has provided ex-gratia relief of Rs. One lakh in the name of each of the deceased, but no such support has been provided to the son of Hoshair Singh and Shashi Bala who were killed by the militants. They said in the shooting incidents Loksavek’s sister and his mother-in-law also got injured and the authorities paid no attention towards them. At present due to fear to his life, Loksevak along with his wife is putting up with his relations.
