A man reportedly murdered his brother over a land dispute. Yester night in a gruesome act of brutality and greed a man murdered his brother over a land dispute in Ganderwal village falling under the Jurisdiction of Chenani police station in Udhampur district.
Fifty five years Omi Chand s/o Mallu Ram was murdered by his brother Premnath. The police has taken the prime accused and his family members under their custody and a case has been lodged under 303, 304 sections of RPC.
Pardeep Gupta SHO Chenani told that the investigation is on and police will get to the bottom of the case soon. In the meanwhile the postmortem of the deceased was conducted at district hospital and the doctors told in their preliminary report that Omi Chand had died because of internal injuries which may have been caused during his scuffle with brother.
