Pradesh Mahila Congress in a meeting have expressed concern over the price hike of cooking gas, petrol and diesel but said that it is due to the increase of crude oil price in the international market. Swarn Lata president Mahila Congress requested the chief minister to explore possibility to minimize the price of cooking gas by lowering the surcharge imposed by state government.
Prominent among those present in the meeting include Raj Bakshi, Kiran Bala, Madhu Dogra, Rajni Sharma, Shakuntla Devi, Kamlesh Basih, Sheetal Bahu, Jyoti Vaid, Asha Rani, Vimla Devi and Mukhtyar and others.
