| Army hands over Pak soldiers to counterparts, in a goodwill gesture | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | June 5 Indian army on Thursday handed over two Pakistani soldiers, apprehended inside Indian territory near the line of control in Pallanwala sector on wednesday, to the Pakistan army as a good will gesture. According to Ministry of defence spokesperson in Jammu Lt Col SD Goswami," two Pakistani soldiers who had inadvertently strayed across to the Indian side were handed over to Pak Army at a Flag Meeting today afternoon as a goodwill gesture". The spokesperson declined to comment further on the circumstances under which these two Pak soldiers had crossed in to the Indian territory. It is learnt that one of the soldier was dressed in Pak army uniform and both belonged to Balochistan regiment. The soldiers were identified as Ali Asgar and Zamir Abbasi. |
