Jammu, Sept 18: Er Ramesh Chander Mahajan State Secretary of BJP Health & Medical Cell J&K today demanded the upgradation of District Hospital Jagti Nagrota Jammu.
While interacting with Sameer Mattoo Director Health Service, Directorate of Health Service , Mahajan apprised the genuine problem of masses who are reeling under pathetic condition from several years and The 40 bedded Govt Hospital at Jagti Nagrota Jammu was recently declared by State administrative as State District Hospital Jagti and to make the hospital a registered for viable quality of health service centre for extended the benefits of large population of 50000 peoples which includes of large numbers of Kashmiri Migrants as well as it cater to the needs of general public living in surrounding villages besides the heavy traffic moving on the road connected with busy national highway.
But fortunately the hospital is not equipped with following facilities of 24 hour life supporting ambulances, adequate medicine supplies to hospital like ( Injection , drugs , surgical items , sutures and first aid dressing material ,adequate oxygen cylinders, blood bank , surgical emergencies facilities and treatment for accident case. , sophisticated and bio medical equipment , availability of Maternity and pregnancy treatment and welfare schemes like( JSSK, PMMVY ), specialist doctors to be deputed like Gynaecologists, orthopaedic can, child specialist and physician, heart, dentist, eye and ENT specialists, professional staff and specialists doctors made available particularly during night hours .
The infrastructure of Govt hospital jagti is totally paralysed and hospitalis being supervised manned by few medical officers which includes paramedics staff and functioning is like dispensary, there is a dire need of its proper supervision to safeguard the serious patient ,accidents and emergency cases.
In conclusion the director health service assured all possible help to redressed the genuine grievances of the public so as to mitigate their suffering very shortly. |
