| DPS Jammu organizes seed ball activity | | |

Jammu, Sept 19: Delhi Public School, Jammu organized Seed ball activity today in the school campus.
Students participated with great enthusiasm and fervour in making seed balls. Beginning with the activity the seeds were given proper treatment. Fertilizers and fungicides were well mixed with the clayey soil needed for this activity so that the motive of planting seeds would be fruitful.
The activity was performed by the students of Classes VII & VIII under the supervision of Science teachers.
The students were divided into groups and each student made 5 seed balls. One student from each group also presented the views on the importance of making seed balls and they also highlighted the importance of making environment green.
Headmistress, Meenu Gupta interacted with the students, encouraged and appreciated the students for their active participation and also presented her views in making the environment clean and green. |
