Poonch, Sept 19: After much wait the dry spell of Poonch ended as it rains in the afternoon in Poonch town. But this rain raises serious questions on the management by Municipality as in just few moments of rain the streets were filled with the overflowing water from the drains and it becomes difficult for the locals to walk. There is another view of mismanagement was seen at the Qila bazar where the heaps of garbage comes out of the drains and spilled on the road.
Locals and shopkeepers there said that this is the common sight as the rain comes. They said that the drains were already filled up to street level which makes it overflow as soon as it rains in Poonch.
They requested district administration to look into the matter and guide the related department to work effectively. |
