| Cong created history in state: Sharma | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | June 6 JKPCC spokesperson Ravinder Sharma has said that the congress led coalition government led coalition government in the state has created history in the field of education apart from other sectors in the state. As per a release, Sharma said that the coalition government has set up about 40 new colleges besides six university campuses in different parts of the state. Most of the new colleges have been set up in the remote and backward areas of the state, where poor students used to drop out to economic conditions. Congratulating people of Nowshera and Budhal over the opening of new colleges, Sharma urged for concerted efforts for opening a college each tehsil including one in Sunderbani and Kalakote areas of Rajouri district. He hailed the efforts of the Azad government for getting approval for central university, one IIM and a campus of National Tribal University, in this state also. The people should compare this period of coalition regime with past fifty years, he seems adding that the progress and developmental in every sphere of activity witnessed during this period, the release added. |
