A deputation of Chhamb displaced persons of 1965 and 1971 was today called on Advisor to Chief Minister, Janak Raj Sharma.
The members of the deputation demanded early implementation of the decisions promised by the Chief Minister in the earlier meeting. The deputation expressed full hope and faith in the intension of the present government in mitigating the grievances of the Chhamb displaced persons under the stewardship of Chief Minister, Ghulam Nabi Azad.
Another deputation of contractual employees called on the Political Advisor to Chief Minister and urged upon the Chief Minister to regularize the services of all the adhoc and contractual. The Advisor assured the deputation that their demands should be placed before the Chief Minister.
A deputation of Doda Migrants who are sitting on a dharna for the last 167 days met the Advisor and demanded treatment at par with Kashmiri Migrants and make on the spot verifications.
A deputation of Gujjar Biradari met the Advisor and lauded the efforts of the government under the leadership of Ghulam Nabi Azad for amending SRO-294 and providing due reservation to the SC and STs like other states where the Gujjars are striving hard for reservation.

A deputation of District Congress Urban Cell called on the Advisor to CM and urged upon the Chief Minister to carry forward the pace of development for the benefit of the Aam Admi in every nook and corner of the state. |
