Jammu | June 6
A Soldier commits suicide by hanging himself to death in side a residential quarter at Malpur Akhnoor, here this morning.
Informed sources told News Agency of Kashmir hat a soldier posted with 242-Medium regiment of Army was found hanged inside his residential quarter at Akhnoor this morning at around 8.30 am.
He was immediately shifted to MH hospital where doctors declare him as brought dead.
The deceased solider has been identified as Lance Hawaldar Yashpal Singh son of Puran Singh resident of Mehandergarh Haryana.
Police has registered a case and start investigation to ascertain the cause of suicide. Defence Spokesman Lt Col SD Goswami when contacted confirmed the incident and said Army has ordered court of inquiry. |
