| ‘Darshan fee’, hurts sentiments of devotees: NCP | | | Early Times Reporter

The members of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) discussed number of current issues, which include rising prices of essential commodities, were discussed at a high power meeting chaired by NCP state secretary Yogesh Kapoor here today.
Kapoor while addressing the workers said, sharp rise in essential commodities, especially in cooking gas has put common in a fix. He said government has totally failed in its commitments.
With regard to ‘darshan fee’, Kapoor said, it has hurt the sentiments of the people and it shows the highhandness of shrine board.
In the meeting a resolution was passed to launch a campaign for the awareness of people against price hike. Among others who spoke on the occasion were Amnish Choudhary, Onkar Chib, Ajay Singh Charak, Sonu Verma, Rahul Kapoor and Rajinder Sharma.

Mahants demands installation of bore well in temple premises

Mahants of Nilhalkeshwar Mahadev Mandir of village Nihalki, near Saroor bus-stand have urged upon the state government to install 8” bore well in the temple in thousand face lot of difficulties due to water.
As per press release, a small hand pump already exists in the temple, but it does not suffice the need of devotees included villagers who visit the temple daily.
Mahants of the temple nthrough a ststement release to press here today, have requested the state chief minister Ghulam nabi Azad to direct the PHE authorities to install bore well at an earliest. |
