| 6 die, 7 injured across J&K | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | June 7 At least four six persons were killed and seven others were injured in separate road accidents across Jammu and Kashmir since Saturday morning. Police sources told KMT that two persons were killed after a tanker bearing registration number JK02D/ 3401 on way from Jammu to Srinagar turned turtle on National Highway near Lethpora in Awantipura area of Pulwama district. Sources said that, due to some technical snag the Tanker turned turtle resulting in on spot death of driver Popinder Singh, son of Harbans Singh, resident of Chati Singpora Anantnag. Two other persons who suffered critical injuries were identified as Mohammad Hussain, son of Syed Mohammad and Imtiyaz Ahmad, son of Arshad Ahmad both residents of Rajouri, they said. The injured were rushed to hospital for treatment, however, Mohd Hussain succumbed to his injuries on way to SKIMS. Police has registered a case in this regard. Meanwhile, two persons were killed after the Tracker they were traveling in rolled down a gorge near Galak link road in Kishenpu Murian area of Jammu district. The deceased were identified as Sudesh Kumar, son of Jato Ram and Roshan Sharma, son of Bansi Lal, residents of Kishanpur Murian Sources said that Harpreet Singh, son of Surjeet Singh, resident of Preet Nagar and Puran Chand, son of Girdhari Lal resident of Tali Morh, who were admitted in GMC Jammu after suffering critical injuries in separate accidents deied in Government Medical College Jammu. Bimla Devi, wife of Late Sh. Kuldeep Singh, resident of Christan Colony Bakshi Nagar, Ashwani Sharma, son of Anant Ram, resident of Railway Line, Kotli Shah Dhulla, Ram Kumar, son of Vijay Kumar, resident of Patoli Paloura, Deepak Sharma, son of Satpal Sharma, resident of Lashwara, Anand Kumar, son of Mintu Ram resident of Bijar at present Kotli Shah, Dullah R. S Pora, Roshan Lal, son of Vidya Ram, resident of Bhoro Bhama R.S Pora, Satish Mohajan, son of Ravi Chand, resident of Janipur, and Bimla, wife of Late Kuldeep Singh, resident of Gurah Bakashi Nagar were admitted in GMC Jammu after suffering injuries in different road accidents. |
