RET teachers call on SPD SAMAGRA

Jammu, Sept 25: A deputation of J&K RET Teachers Forum today called on SPD SAMAGRA Dr. Arun Manhans in his office at Srinagar and discussed various demands of teaching fraternity.
Led by State president Vinod Sharma and accompanied by state chief coordinator Sukhdev Singh Sumbria, the delegation members highlighted the issue of release of pending salary of un-regularized ReT teachers and those regularized ReT teachers who have not been converted to teachers grade II and teachers grade III, as these teachers are without salary since March 2019 .
They urged for early release of their salaries as the families of these teachers are suffering badly.He also highlighted the issue of teachers of Kashmir Province who are unable to process their online B.Ed examination forms due to lack of internet facility in the valley and appealed that their forms be submiited offline so that teachers may not suffer anymore.
The SPD gave a patient hearing to the deputation and assured to make provision for the release of salaries of these aggrieved teachers. He also assured that B.ed examination forms of the teachers of Kashmir Province will be submitted offline. Pankaj Verma and Balbir singh also accompanied the deputation.
