JAMMU, Sept 25: Employment Information cum Advisory Bureau, Department of Life Long Learning, University of Jammu in collaboration with Career Counseling Cell, Govt. Degree College Billawar organized one day awareness programme on "Career Options after graduation".
The programme was held under the overall supervision of Dr. Kavita Suri, Director, DLL, University of Jammu. The programme was inaugurated by Dr. Jugal Kishore Sharma, Principal of the College.
He also welcomed the guests and appreciated the efforts of DLL for the organization of this programme in this far flung college.
The special resource persons were Dr. Harish Dutt Sharma, department of Botany University of Jammu, Dr. Shallu Sehgal, department of Economics and Rewa Khajuria, Councellor, EIAB, DLL, JU.
Dr. Harish Dutt informed the students about career options and job opportunities in Science and Graduation and Post Graduation. Dr. Shallu Sehgal in her presentation apprised the students about career options in Economics. Dr. Reva Khajuria explained importance of career counseling.
The programme was attended by 90 students of the college. Various teaching faculty members were also present in the hall. The proceedings of the programme were conducted by Dr. Arun Sharma, convener Career Counseling Cell, GDC Billawar and formal vote of thanks was presented by Dr. Suram Singh. |
