IDPS celebrates Kindergarten Fest

Jammu, Sept 28: International Delhi Public School Kathua conducted "Marathon- a Jubilant Jamboree- a Kindergarten Fest" an inter-school competition for pre-primary Classes. Students from about 20 schools participated in the competition. There was fancy dress competition for nursery children and coloring activity for L.K.G class. Poem recitation competition was organized for U.K.G class. The chief guest for the function was Prof. Asha Ram Prinicipal Degree College Kathua and the guest of honour was BDO Lakhanpur, N.K Chandan. The judges for the competition were H.O.D Home Science, Degree College Kathua- Vishab Deepika, Krishna- Art and Craft teacher from Pathankot and Dr Archna Bhat from Home Science Department of Degree College, Kathua. The small kids were looking very cute in their fancy dresses and they performed confidently and L.K.G students did coloring so effectively. Class U.K.G students' recited beautiful poems on their father and mother expressing their love for them.
The chief guest Principal Asha Ram appreciated the effort of the school and added that such activities should be conducted from time to time. He also said that sitting throughout the function he remembered his childhood the guest of honor BDO Lakhanpur wished the school a good future and also conveyed a message of saving environment and stop using polythene .Overall the function was very successful with the efforts of all the staff members.
