JJSF organizes felicitation programme

Khour, Sept 28: District Rural Unit of Jammu Joint Students Federation under headship of Amandeep Sharma today organized a felicitation programme to felicitate toppers of class 12th at Government Higher Secondary School Khour.
Hundreds of students were present in the programme. Subash Sharma Executive Municipal Committee was the Chief Guest of the occasion, Principal Ajay Kumar Sharma was the guest of honor and Atul Sudan (State Vice President JJSF) was the special guest of the occasion where as the councilor Poppy of Ward no 6 was the special invitee.
Felicitating the toppers the guests felicitated Diksha Sharma of 12th Class from Arts stream who secured 94.2% marks in 12th board exams, Gourav Sharma of Science stream who secured 90% marks in 12th Class board exams. Further few more students of class 11th were also felicitated.
Speaking on the occasion Principal GHSS Khour Ajay Kumar Sharma said that it is very tough task for the students of rural area to compete with students of cities especially of big private institutes as they get all resources where as these students are totally dependent on school and self study.
