9/28/2019 10:25:35 PM
Early Times Report

JAMMU, Sept 28: Prof. Bhim Singh, Chief Patron of National Panthers Party commenting critically on the speech that the Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi delivered in UN General Assembly on September 27, 2019 came out in bold saying that the Indian Prime Minister failed to convey to the world the contributions that India had made for the world peace, disarmament and strengthening the Non-Aligned Movement for decades. NPP Supremo said that the Indian Prime Minister missed even the contributions made by former Indian Prime Minister, Atal Bihari Vajpayee while he was addressing UN General Assembly as India's Prime Minister. He said that the Indian Prime Minister, Atal Bihari Vajpayee had raised the issue of disarmament and pleaded for strengthening the cooperation against arms race while he was addressing 57th Session of the UNGA in 2002. Vajpayee had said, "In our South Asian region, nuclear blackmail has emerged over the past few months as a new arrow in the quiver of state-sponsored terrorism. Dark threats were held out that actions by India to stamp out cross-border terrorism could provoke a nuclear war." Vajpayee spoke in more stronger terms in UNGA.
He expressed surprise that Prime Minister, Narendra Modi completely missed or failed to carry the India's message that was projected by Atal Bihari Vajpayee before the United Nations.
