JMC organizes programme on Single Use Plastic

Jammu, Sept 27: JMC organized awareness prgogramme against single use plastic in collaboration with Shiksha Niketan Hr. Secondary School,Jeevan Nagar Jammu in which Sh. Pankaj Magotra, Commissioner, JMC was the chief guest of the occasion. Principal Rameshwar Mengi along with staff members and students warm welcome with the tree plant and Momento to the Commissioner, JMC. On the occasion, during the lecturer Commissioner, JMC stressed upon all the students of the school, to contribute maximum single use polythene for construction of Akhnoor road narwal National Highway. He appraised the students of the school for collection of quantum of the single use of plastic in the school premises.
Principal, thanked the Commissioner, JMC for such a favourable steps to vanish single use plastic and get fruitful result of constructing National Highway. Dr. Zaffar Iqbal, Nodal Officer, SWM JMC and Master Jorawar Expert, Solid Waste Management from JMC both delivered lecture on the occasion say No to Single Use Plastic and told the students many other ways to put an end the single use of polythene. They inspired the students to use the cotton bags and also encourage cotton bags for their routine carry bags.
