Journalists Guild (Jammu) today formed its unit at Akhnoor Tehsil after a meeting with Press Club of Akhnoor and declared Himmat Singh as its president.
The unanimous declaration in this regard was made by a two-member team of Journalists Guild comprising Devender Padha (president) and Govind Chouhan (incharge rural units) after consultation with the existing body.
Rajinder Kumar Sharma was declared vice president, while those included in executive body were Sat Pal, Raman Samotra, Rakesh Sharma, Rajinder Gupta and Kishore Kumar.
Meanwhile, the other members were Pritpal Singh, Mohan Singh Jamwal, V Sapolia, Kuldeep Dutta, Vijay Sharma, Bharat Bhushan Bali, Kulbir Choudhary and Bunty Sharma. |
