| Surya Gram Vikas Samiti holds meeting | | | Early Times Reporter

An emergent meeting of Mandli J&K Surya Gram Vikas Samiti (NGO), Jammu was held under the chairmanship of Jasaeel Singh Slathia, president of the samiti. The meeting was attended by all the members and members from disabled forum. As per a release, during the meeting various issues relating to the upliftment of disabled educated youths, educated youth and those who have turned aged and are facing hardships. In addition to this it was also put in the meeting as to how and what measures should be taken for rehabilitation of disabled persons.
In his address Singh said that state govt. is simply premises are being made to rehabilitate the disabled persons, where as, tall persons. But it is unfortunate that the state govt. has not taken any ground steps to rehabilite the disabled youths.
Slathia urged and appealed Ghulam Nabi Azad, to intervene in the problems faced by the disabled, and there is proper reservation for disabled is being suppressed, the release added. |
