Geelani’s statement is misleading: Sethi

Onkar Seth, prominent BJP leader and senior advocate have asked both state and centre governments why no action is being taken of J&K state with rest of the country (India) against those persons who advocate secession and challenge its sovereignty on J&K.
Expressing surprise over the recent statement of Hurriyat leader Ali Shah Geelani, that he (Geelani) was contesting elections to seek anti-India votes is misleading and nothing else. He said, Geelani fought elections under various parties and took oath of the constitution which guaranteed Jammu and Kashmir is an internal part of India. He said his statement his statement is mischievous and has no footing and to mislead people of the state.
Seth said, as ex-member of the state legislative Geelani is still availing pension etc benefits like other legislatures. He has urged upon the Govt to take action against Geelani, who preach separation and added ruling leaders are equally responsible, as they pay money etc to him for this.
