| Vet doctors frame executive body | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | June 8 The J&K veterinary doctors association of Jammu framed a body of six members electing Dr. M.T. Krishan as president. The other members are Dr. R.K. Anano General Secretary, Dr. Mohd. Sajjad Public Secretary, Dr. Majid Iqbal Malik, Treasurer, Dr. C.K Bakshi, Distt. Executives (AH) and Dr. Khem Raj Sharma Distt. Executive (SH). In the meeting demands related to posting of BVO grade-I on the posts of cadre of Rs. 9000-14000 creation of VAS posts in all left over panchayats of the state 2½ days pay in lieu of SRO-86 of 2006, hard duty allowance for employees working in farms and laboratories, non-practicing allowance to vets at part with central vets. DPC of gazetted cadre, deputation of doctors for specialization on full pay, classification of BVO’s re-designation of Asstt. Directors and Asstt. Project Officers declaration of whole Deputy Director cadre as Class-I, creation of Chief Executive officer posts and need of Director General Animal/Sheep husbandry Deptt. J&K state were raised. Members thanked Minister Taj Mohidin for providing guidance in shaping the departments and appealed for earliest redressal of grievances by accepting all genuine demands. ++++++ page 2 HUGE CACHE OF ARMS AMMUNITION RECOVERED Jammu 5th June: A major tragedy was averted by the Police when they recovered UBGL Grenades , IED material and some ammunition near Mosra Nallah in the mountainous district of Reasi today . Reportsreaching here said that, acting on a specific input Police and 61 RR acting swiftly and launched a joint search operation near Mosra Nallah under the jurisdiction of police station Mahore . During search a huge cache of arms and ammunition were recovered which includes five UBGL Grenade , 33 AK rounds, one Binocular , two blankets and some IED material . The UBGL Grenades and IED material were destroyed on spot by the experts. |
