| 2 Killed, 1 injured in two road mishaps | | | Early Times Reporter

Two persons reportedly got killed and other one suffered injuries in two separate road mishaps at different places in Jammu division. In an accident one minor boy was crushed to death when he was hit by a bus bearing registration number 6455/JK02D at Saroti under the jurisdiction of police station Mendhar . Reports revealed that , one minor boy namely Waqar Ahmed (10 yrs.) s/o Mohd Latief r/o Gulatha was hit by a bus which was on its way from Mendhar to Saroti . On receiving the information the police rushed the spot and shifted the injured to SDH Mendhar where from he was referred to GMC hospital Jammu but he expired , while being shifted to GMC Jammu . Police have taken cognizance . In another road mishap , one person was killed and another one suffered injuries when their motorcycle met with an accident at Jagti Nagrota . On receiving the information the local police rushed near the site of occurrence and evacuated both of them to GMC hospital Jammu. Out of the injured one succumbed to his injuries while being shifted to GMC hospital Jammu . The deceased was identified as Kewal Sharma (35 yrs) s/o Lalman r/o Pangweli while as injured Suresh Kumar s/o Somi Raj r/o Jagti Toka has been hospitalized . The body was handed over to his legal heirs for lost rites after conduction of the legal formalities. |
