Police apprehends narco smuggler with contraband at Basohli 10/5/2019 10:07:41 PM Early Times Report Kathua, Oct 5: In stringent action against narco smuggling, team of Police Station Basohli led by Inspector Vikas Dogra SHO Police Station Basohli apprehended one notorious narco smuggler and seized contraband in his illegal possession. Police team of Police Station Basohli during checking duty in Bhoond area arrested one narco smuggler namely Suresh Kumar S/o Dalip Singh R/o Gadodi Basohli and seized 350 grams Poppy straw and 50 grams cannabis plant material (Charas) in his illegal Possession. The accused is responsible for spreading drugs in society and playing with life of many youths. Police Station Basohli had already booked him earlier in two cases FIR no 40/2019 and 51/2016 under Excise Act. Police Station Basohli registered a case FIR no 52/2019 u/s 8/15/20 NDPS Act and started investigation into the case. Kathua Police is striving hard and taking every possible step to make people especially youth aware to eradicate drug menace. We request people of the area to come forward and share information about drug peddling or consumption on with Police for the cause.
