Sat starts developmental works in Janipur Colony

Jammu, Oct 5: Former Minister and Ex-MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA) started construction works of lane at Janipur Colony area near Shiv Mandir, Ward 37. A large number of people accompanied the Former MLA during his visit in the ward including Corporator Ward 37 Sunita Gupta, JMC officials, local residents and political activists of the area. The works will be done under the supervision of JMC at an estimated of Rupees 8.29 lakhs and the funds were sanctioned from the CDF (Constituency Development Fund) scheme of Former MLA which was sanctioned during his tenure and its work was delayed due to code of conduct of elections and other reasons, but the work was taken up as soon as the process got cleared.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that it was long pending demand of the inhabitants of the area as some developmental works pertaining to laying of pipes were done in the area which resulted into digging of lanes. He stated that after the works were done there was a dire need to construct the lane as the commuters passing through these lanes experienced lots of difficulties and keeping in view the sentiments of the public, the works had to be taken up in order to avoid public distress.
He also stated that no ward of Jammu West is left behind in terms of development and wherever necessary, concerned departments are asked to redress public grievances at the earliest so that a proper infra and services could be provided to the public.
Sunita Gupta appreciated the efforts of Former MLA and stated that amongst all 26 wards of Jammu West, Ward 37 has the maximum number of population and crores of Rupees were spent on developmental works in the Ward on the recommendation of Former MLA which improved the scenario of Roads, Water supply, Power supply, Sanitation and many other things which has helped a lot in making Ward 37 a clean ward.
Mandal General Secretary BJP Raveesh Mengi, Ward President Sahil Gupta, Sangeeta Verma, Kulbir Singh, Surinder Bhasin, Vicky Sharma, Rakesh Gupta, Ramesh Bituu, Swarn Singh, sahil Anand, Dinesh Maini, Meena Jamwal, Pankaj Gupta, Avinash Anand, sahil and several others were also present.
