Glowing tributes were paid to martyr Vicky Singh on his second death anniversary, who laid down his life at Bandipora, Kashmir in an encounter insurgency operation against the militants.
While paying tributes Shaheed Vicky Singh, MLC, R.S. Chib, said, Vicky Singh’s 21 yr old made a supreme sacrifice to the nation, which will be never forgotten. He on the occasion asked the younger generation to draw inspiration from Vicky Singh.
Col. R.L. Gangoo who paid tributes said that the supreme made by Shaheed Vicky Singh will not go in vain and said that the defense forces are proud of such heroes.
Earlier Chib, T.S. Bajwa, Col. Gangal, Ch. Sham Lal, Sub-Dharmesh Singh(father of the martyr), Pritam Singh,Ch. Mohginder Singh, Guddu singh, Hans Raj, Jasbir Singh Lucky, Ashok Kumar and others paid floral tributes by laying wreaths on the memorial.
Maj. Sanjay Patil- 7 JAK, N/Sub-Rajindder Pal 2nd Gradiniess also spoke and paid tributes. |
