| 2 lakh pilgrims registered | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | June 9 With just ten days left for commencement of the annual Amarnath yatra as many as two lakh pilgrims have been registered and the number if likely to grow by another one lakh in next ten days. The Amarnath yatra is set to commence from June 18 and two lakh pilgrims have already registered across different centers in the country, said the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board officials. Over 2,00,013 pilgrims have been registered for the yatra till now, officials of the Jammu and Kashmir Bank, which is taking care of the registration process all over the country, said. The registration process, which is going on in its full swing, began in different states across the country from May 2 and would end on July 13. The bank is charging Rs 15 as registration fee from the pilgrims. |
