| PDP condemns police action against protesting employees | | | Early Times Reporter Srinagar | June 10 Terming police's brute force against the protesting employees yesterday as undemocratic and uncalled for, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) today condemned the police action against the agitating government employees stressing on the government to find an amicable solution to their problems. A spokesman of the party today said that employee's agitation not only hampers the office work, but it puts the common masses in trouble. He added that government should constitute a committee, to negotiate with the employees so that an amicable solution to their problems is chalked out. The party has also expressed its concern over the steep rise in prices of Petrol, Diesel and LPG. The spokesman further said that the steep rise in prices of fuel will adversely affect the prices of other essential commodities and demanded from the State Government to exempt Petrol and Diesel from sales tax to ease out the situation. |
