10-day tour programme of JENESYS concludes

10-day tour programme of Japan-East Network of Exchange for Students and Youth (JENESYS) , 3rd batch sponsored by JICE (Japan International Cooperation Centre) concluded .
The programme was organized by Japan and Government of India under MHRD, New Delhi.
The objective of the programme was to lay the foundation for a common future vision and solidarity in East Asia in the 21st century and promote mutual understanding among younger generation in the region through youth exchange.
The batch included 54 participants out of which four students including Pooja Pandita, GHSS Udhampur, Parabjoot Singh Ghai, HSS Poonch, Divya Choudhary, GHSS Mubarak Mandi, Bhavneet Singh, JK Public School were from J&K. They visited the cities like Tokyo, JICA Osaka, Wakayama, Hyogo, Miyazaki, Kota Town, Asakusa prefecture and interacted with the Japanese students. They experienced Japanese Calligraphy and Japanese paper hand making for the first time.
