As the protest against the UPA led coalition government continues, for its failure to curb the price hiking of the various essential commodities, in this regard a protest demonstration was organized by the Women Wing of Jammu and Kashmir National conference,(NC), here today.
The protest was organized under the NC provincial President women wing, Bimla Luthra, in which the protestors, were holding play cards in their hands and raise slogans against the ruling government as well as against the UPA government.
Speaking on the occasion, Luthra said that it is very unfortunate that the instead of giving people of the state some extra benefits the government is putting a huge burden by raising the prices of essential commodities, including, Pertol, Disel and Cooking gas.
She further added that With the decision of price hike, the people who were already burdened under the price hike of other house hold items are struggling with the very difficulties.
Others who participated in the demonstration were, Veena Oberai, Satwant Kpour, Nirmal, Babita and Ravinder Kour. |
