Jammu, Oct 13: Jammu Athletes Club today organized promotional and heritage run in the old city of Jammu. Run started from the back gate of university of Jammu and passed through Gujjar nagar , Raghunath bazaar, Purani mandi, link road , Jain bazaar, Mubarak Mandi , Pacca Danga , Parade, Shalamar and culminated at university of jammu covering a distance of 10 kms. A Large number of prominent marathon runners of Jammu participated in the event. The heritage run was supported by Escort vehicle by AM Hyundai .CRT team of Jammu and Kashmir police also participated in the heritage run. This run was very special for the participants as everybody relived their childhood memories at different points of the run. The main objective of the run was to promote JAMMU HALF MARATHON 2ND EDITION driven by AM Hyundai scheduled for 10 th of nov. 2019. The race categories are 5kms, 10kms and 21.1 kms. The registration for the event closes on 25th oct and can be done at www. jammuath letesclub.com. A number of athletes from across the country and overseas are expected to participate in Jammu Half Marathon second edition driven by AMHyundai and will go in the history books as the first marathon event of Union territory of jammu and kashmir.
AM Hyundai is also supporting the Jammu Half Marathon second edition for its social cause of "Say No to Drugs, Yes to Sports"
