| Zargar inaugurates JK Bank Branch at Manzgam | | | Early Times Reporter Srinagar | June 10 The Minister for Agriculture Abdul Aziz Zargar inaugurated a new J&K Bank branch at Manzgam in Noorabad constituency raising the total number of branches to 561 in the country and 14th in district Kulgam. On the occasion 110 customers opened their accounts depositing an amount of Rs. 2.57 lakhs. Earlier, the Minister also inaugurated Primary Health Centre (PHC) at Manzgam completed at a cost of Rs. 1.50 crore. Speaking on the occasion the Minister reiterated the aim of the government for developing the Aharbal as a tourist resort and in this regard an amount of Rs. 50 lakhs was earmarked for construction of tourist centre the work on which would be started next month. Highlighting the achievements of the government, Zargar said that every effort was made to improve the civic amenities of the people of the state, particularly living in far flung areas. He said the astute leadership of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed brought new hopes for the people, adding that PDP will work for peace and prosperity of the people of the state. Minister for Forests Qazi Mohammed Afzal also spoke on the occasion and said that the government is aware of the problems of the people which are being addressed in phased manner. He said peace remained always high on the agenda of the government and the party took several historical measures in this direction. |
