| SSB jawan killed, 2 injured as Punjab roadways hits escort gypsy | | |
Jammu, Oct 14: A jawan of Sashastra Seema Bal was killed while two others suffered injuries when an official vehicle of an escort of J&K Police Officer was hit by a Punjab Roadways bus on Jammu-Punjab National Highway near Rajbag in Kathua district.
"Escort vehicle of J&K ADG Headquarter this morning met with an accident on Jammu-Pathankot National highway near Dhaloti Morh in Kathua," police here said.
They said that Punjab roadways bus hit the official Gypsy resulting on spot death of an SSB Jawan while two others sustained injuries.
They were hospitalised at GMC Kathua for treatment. The deceased was identified as SSB Jawan Din Dayal Bodhria of Chattisgarh while the injured jawans Anuj, also of SSB and driver Tarsem Lal of security wing, J&K Police.
