| Committee examines petition relating to SWD | | | Early Times Reporter

The Petitions Committee of Legislative Assembly met here today under the chairmanship of MLA Yogesh Sawhney and reviewed the status of various petitions filed before the Committee.
In today's meeting the Committee examined a petition pertaining to Social Welfare Department. The petitioner appeared before the Committee and apprised about her view point in support of her petition already filed. The Committee recorded the statement of the petitioner and directed the Department to resolve the matter amicably and apprise the Committee about the action taken report.
Those present in the meeting included MLAs Mohammad Khalil Naik, Sarfraz Ahmed Khan, Sharif-ud-Din Shariq, Faqir Nath, Raman Mattoo, Special Secretary Social Welfare Department Muzaffar Iqbal, Director Social Welfare, Jammu/Kashmir Laj Ram, Khurshid Ahmed and Additional Secretary Assembly G.N.Mir. |
