Debate competition on Role of Police in National Security held

Samba, Oct 14: District Police Samba organized a debate competition on Role of Police in National Security: Rememberance of Police Martyrs at District Police Lines, Samba in which more than 20 students from different Private / Govt. Schools participated.
On the very onset, all the students, teachers along with Dy.SP DAR, Vipan Chandran visited the Martyrs Gallery at DPL Samba and paid floral tributes to the Martyrs. In the debate competition, Danish Attri, a student of 6th Class of BBN High School, Vijaypur secured 1st position whereas Ankita Pangotra, student of 5th class of Sunlight High School Utterbehni secured 2nd Position and Bharti Sharma, student of 11th Class of Kushan Public Hr. Seconday School Samba selected at 3rd position by the Jury Members.
The students who secured 1st, 2nd & 3rd position were awarded with trophies & certificates. However, all other participating students were also presented with certificate of appreciations. The debates presented by the participant students were highly appreciable and their knowledge as well as presentation skills were worth applauds.
SSP Samba, Sh. Shakti K. Pathak who was the chief guest on the occasion, thoroughly listened to all the participants and admired the way these young students understood and presented their idea on National Security and Role of Police. SSP Samba extended his thanks to all the teachers who prepared their students so well and assured that District Police Samba will always be remain available for all genuine help and support for its citizens.
The programme was attended by the teachers/faculty members/Chief Prosecuting Officer/ Dy. SP DAR Samba/Dy. SP Hqrs Samba/SDPOs Vijaypur/ Bari Brahmana /Students of the Govt./ Private Schools of Samba Town. At the end of the programme, refreshment was also served to the students.
