"There is path breaking progress on the resolution of Kashmir issue. It was due to the tireless efforts of the coalition government that India and Pakistan have understood the need to resolve all bilateral issues and work for the peace and prosperity of the subcontinent," Baig said addressing a convention of Gujjar Welfare Forum at Bandipora district. Both the atomic powers have taken a cue from the formation of European Union and are making efforts to work in tandem for the economic prosperity and welfare of the people of the subcontinent, he said. Baig, a senior PDP leader, appealed to people of the subcontinent to destroy the walls of hatred as they share common culture, beliefs and history.
