| Airtel footprints on Gateway to Poonch | | Launches services in Surankote cluster | | Early Times Reporter

Expanding its reach and network to the gateway of Poonch district, Airtel J&K today announced the launch of its services in the Surankote area of the border district. With this Airtel J&K achieved yet another distinction of setting its footprints in the far-flung areas of the state. This is in continuation with the Airtel endeavor to bring in the best in telecom at the doorsteps of the common man. With this Airtel became the first telecom operator to launch services in the Surankote area of Jammu region. The much awaited start of mobile services in the far off valley brought in respite to people of the region as it was their long pending demand. The launch marked the beginning of a new era of affordable and within reach telecommunication services in the region.
Excluding the border villages, to start with Airtel network will ring in all the 51villages of the Surankote tehsil including Sangiot, Jaranwali, Bafliaz, Drava, lathoong, Lassana, , Sangiot, Parat, Chaninsar,Gunthal,Kallar Mohra, Bhata Durian, Kalar Kattal, Sailan, Shindhra,Seri Chowan,Nabana, Nar Marg. and Potha.
The customers of Surankote will also enjoy reach in terms of products through 200 retailers and one distributor which is expected to be scaled to three hundred retailers and two distributors to cater to the needs of the people in the area. The area would also experience the world class services through no of PCO, that is being extended throughout the area. The Surankote inhabitants will experience the world class network and services through the 21 sites. All the product offerings in Prepaid & PCO will be available for the customers enjoyed by the Airtel customers all across the state, including the much sought after Nokia and Motorola bundling offers. |
